In this 52-page autobiographical comic, I journey through the relationship I had with my grandmother, from when I was a child playing piano on regular trips to her grandmother’s house, up through my grandmother’s death when I was in high school.
This comic takes a humorous, heartfelt look at how our relationships with family members can evolve, and how that evolution can sometimes lead to pain and regret. Sometimes, though, a fried balogna sandwich and a trip to the grocery store can make everything seem just a little bit brighter.
