FEELING THE WAY I ALWAYS DO is a 24 page autobiographical comic about my relationship to HAIRSPRAY the musical, as well as its fat and fabulous main character, Tracy Turnblad. Spanning when the I first saw the musical at the very influential age of 10, to when I rediscovered it in my 20s, this comic deals with the themes of body image, crushing hard on the unattainable, food, fashion, and of course, singing along. 2023.
